Saturn's Night Sky is Adorned With Its Crescent Icy-Moons

On earth we can only see one moon in our night sky. But, on saturn you can see many moons at once gorgeously decorated in the night sky among stars.  Above image is assembled by using two pictures taken by Cassini spacecraft during its 13 year mission around Saturn and its many moons. The spacecraft made 162 targeted flybys of saturn's moons during which it also discovered 6 new moons. With 82 moons, Saturn is the king of moons in our solar system. Titan appears fuzzy here because of it's methane and other hydrocarbon clouds which refract sunlight. This causes the crescent to wrap more than on an airless body. Other moons appear rough because their icy-surfaces are heavily cratered and had a violent history. Who wouldn't want a night sky like that?
