Scientists Find 6 Foot-Long Thigh Bone from One of the Biggest Dinosaurs Ever.

This 140-million-old, 6-foot long thigh bone was recently discovered in southwestern France and it is believed to have belonged to a Sauropod. Sauropods are four-legged, long neck dinosaurs lived in Jurassic era. An asteroid hit the earth 60 millions years ago and wiped out almost all life on earth. That dinosaur is as big as an Boeing airplane. Most of these Sauropods died if they accidentally fall on the ground. They could not get up because of they are extremely large size. Why dinosaurs grew so large? How was the earth millions of years ago during the time of the dinosaurs? Earth was very different from what we se today.  We have to know the history to predict the future. Best way to engage and inspire students into life sciences, medical sciences, geology, planetary sciences etc. That is what children are going to discover in Jurassic Mystery Workshop.
