It was the time of the giants when
dinosaurs walked the earth from a period between 250 million years ago to 66 million years ago. But one day around 66 million years ago, a 6 mile wide seared through the sky at nearly 14 km/s and
slammed into the Earth's crust. The
explosion was roughly seven billion times as powerful as the Hiroshima bomb.
That explosion sent shock waves across the landscape.
Following this, the debris in
atmosphere covered the
entire planet. Many of the forests
were burned. Near
to the impact site many of the
animals/ plants died
either of the scorching
temperatures, the ripping winds,
the earthquakes, the tsunamis or the boulders that
rained from the sky. Animals in other parts of planet
the earthquakes, the tsunamis or the boulders that
rained from the sky. Animals in other parts of planet
died because of lack of sunlight.
Life was wiped out paving the way
to the fittest animals and plants to survive. There is no greater force than
evolution.
