Creating Artificial Human Brain by Artificial Intelligence

A race to create an artificial human brain is on. What you see here on the left side is an electronic circuit board created by IBM for US military which mimicks the strucutre of a mammalian brain. Such artificial brains would be used in robots whose intelligence would scale like human intelligence.  It contains 4x4 array of SyNPASE chips. Each chip has one million electronic “neurons” and 256 million electronic synapses between neurons.
